Charlie day 11: Friday

Mark walked Charlie this morning. He didn't pee or poop. Then he fed him mostly dry food with a tablespoon of wet mixed in and he ate the whole thing!! We've been washing his food bowl after every meal, a practice I hope we keep up. Mark took out his staples today from being neutered. They weren't staples so much as they were a thin piece of wire which was twisted. He cleaned the wire clips and the wound, before and after removing the wire, with peroxide. And he fed him already (around 3:30). I'm going to feed him again tonight-he needs to gain some weight. He knows how to sit but doesn't do it every time. His face looks more relaxed on a regular basis, especially when he's in his cage. We made a rule that while we are home, his cage is to be closed, in an effort to encourage him to hang out with us. He was laying next to me last night while I was on the computer-about 4 feet away then all the sudden he slowly rolled over onto his back and all the way onto his other side. It was the most comfortable I've seen him!!
