Charlie day 10: Thursday

He slept in the cage with the door open all night and didn't get out! I woke up this morning and got him out and he was wagging his little stump of a tail. He even got into "playful position" with his head down and butt up in the air and was wagging his tail. Then we got out the door and he turned around and jumped into playful position and wagged his tail. He does have a playful side!! He won't always be mopey! I was mixing his breakfast together and he was getting really excited, he even gently jumped up on me, barely caressing me with his front paws and I scolded him to "get down" which he did promptly. Mark got up and we were both in the kitchen and he was in there laying on the floor. He was more in the middle today. Last night he was laying in the doorframe but today he was actually in the kitchen. I gave him his food and he gobbled it all down. He stretched again, in playful position. It's the little triumphs!! Mark went to the zoo with his sister and her kids yesterday and they were hanging out at the apartment afterwards. Charlie was content to lay in the hallway, away from everyone, but he came into the kitchen to lay for a little bit, with some coaxing. He's starting to come when he's called!! He slept in his cage all night, with the door open! Hesagudboyyyyyy. We woke up to a huge crash of thunder overhead at around 4 am. He jumped out of his cage and ran over to the window. I patted him and told him it was okay an he went back to his cage.
